We are excited to be working alongside a well-established secondary school in East London, currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time position on a long-term supply contract.

The Role:
As a Music Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels, fostering a love of music and creativity.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
  • Encourage students to participate in music-related extracurricular activities such as school concerts, ensembles, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum and support the overall goals of the department.
  • Create an inclusive environment where all students, regardless of ability, feel encouraged to participate and excel.

Requirements:

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience teaching Music at a secondary school level is highly desirable.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • Must have a right to work in the UK.
