Duties and Responsibilities of the Year 1 Teacher in Waltham Forest
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across Key stage 1
- Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans while providing regular feedback on students' progression
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to create a cohesive educational experience
- Establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
- Manage Learning Support Assistants and other helpers in the classroom.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress appropriately.
