Sonic Summary

The North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist for a community services role.
Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months NHS experience and hold HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
The position offers a pay rate of £20 to £24 per hour and is contractually set from 24/03/2025 to 25/04/2025.

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist for a community-based role at NELFT. The successful candidate will work across various community settings, providing patient-centered care and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy interventions for patients in the community.
Work within multidisciplinary teams to support the rehabilitation and recovery of patients.
Develop and implement tailored care plans to meet individual needs.
Provide advice and education to patients, families, and carers.
Manage a caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions.

Key Requirements

HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Proven experience in community-based occupational therapy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in managing complex caseloads (desirable).
