We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Older Adult / Frailty Mental Health Team at Goodmayes - Sunflowers Court.
The role involves working with patients on acute mental health wards, focusing on their recovery and discharge planning.
Key responsibilities include completing comprehensive OT assessments, producing discharge planning reports, and providing individual and group interventions.
The position is part-time, requiring 30 hours per week, with a flexible working pattern from Monday to Friday.
The salary for this role is competitive, and candidates should have relevant experience in mental health, ideally with a background in older adult care.

We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Older Adult / Frailty Mental Health Team based at Goodmayes - Sunflowers Court.

This role will involve working with patients on acute mental health wards, supporting them through their recovery and discharge planning by undertaking thorough OT assessments, providing 1:1 and group interventions, and producing comprehensive reports that identify care needs for safe discharge into the community.

?? Key Responsibilities:? Complete comprehensive OT assessments for patients within Older Adult Mental Health wards.? Produce high-quality discharge planning reports identifying ongoing community support needs.? Provide individual and group interventions to support recovery and rehabilitation.? Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.? Contribute to a safe and timely discharge of patients into the community.

?? Start Date: ASAP? Contract: 30 hours per week (Part-time)?? Working Pattern: Monday - Friday (Flexible within 30 hours)?? Location: Goodmayes - Sunflowers Court (Acute Mental Health OT Department)
