A fantastic opportunity is now available for an experienced OT to join a specialist London hospital as a Senior Occupational Therapist.

This charity-led hospital is at the forefront of clinical care for complex HIV-related conditions, and its recent projects have expanded services to include specialist neurorehabilitation as well as targeted step-down services for people experiencing both health issues and homelessness.

As a Senior OT, youll be part of an incredible MDT that provides detailed and holistic care to patients with needs in at least one of these specialist areas, often overlapping implementing trauma-informed, recovery-focused therapies to help maximise independence, develop their self-management skills, and facilitate a safe re-integration into the community.

This is a permanent position for a Senior Occupational Therapist (full-time or part-time available) and your chance to directly support people affected by both a national lack of sufficient specialist care and by lingering social stigma in a fulfilling and dynamic role.


Person specification:

  • (Essential) Registration with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist
  • (Essential) Registration (or eligibility for) with the RCOT
  • (Essential) Evidence of a clinical interest in HIV, neurological and/or rehabilitation services
  • (Essential) Notable experience working at a level equivalent to top NHS AfC Band 6 or higher
