 Year 6 MAT role – 1 year

 

Vision Teaching is currently working with a “Good” OFSTED-rated four-form entry Primary School in Redbridge, looking for a Year 6 Teacher to start in January 2025. The school is looking for an experienced Teacher with a background working in upper KS2. 

This is a full-time, long-term position working with a class of around 28 pupils, with varying additional needs and mixed abilities within the class. This role is set to start in January 2025 and end in December 2025.

The ideal candidate will be available in January 2025 and able to commute to Redbridge daily.

 

The successful candidate will be expected to have:

  • PGCE + QTS
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • An enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Experience teaching in Year 6, for a minimum of 2 years
  • Safeguarding and Prevent training
  • Provided two professional references

 

Role:

  • This role is not suitable for ECTs
  • You must be available 5 days a week as this is a full-time role until December 2025
  • Planning and delivering lessons
  • Be a positive role model with the ability to support staff
  • Be committed to promoting and enhancing a good understanding of the school
  • You will be able to work with a variety of different ability pupils ranging across all sets
  • Responsibility for being given a form class
  • Salary expectations dependent on current pay scale and experience (M1-6)
