We are seeking an OT for our integrated Reablement Service, within adult social care. You will be working with service users in the community for up to six weeks on a rehabilitation programme, supported by in house reablement officers who deliver reabling care under the direction of OT, with the aim to prevent, reduce or delay development of long term care needs.

We're currently seeking a qualified candidate for the below role:

Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Reablement Service

Contract: 6 months (with possible extension)

Pay Rate: 35 per hour (Umbrella)

Extra Info:

  • Currently Monday - Friday working with flexi time - Some remote working, expectation to complete risk assessed home visits as required and to be office based two days/week
  • Clear DBS (preferably on DBS update service)
  • Experience of working with children subject to child in need and protection plans and Childcare Law setting.
  • Mixture of hospital discharges and community referrals so varied caseload
  • Practitioners who have experience of direct work with children and families within a statutory setting,
