Key Responsibilities of a Primary School ECT
- Planning and Delivering: Lessons develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans that meet the curriculum requirements and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive, and well-organized classroom environment that promotes student learning and behaviour.
- Assessing Student Progress: Regularly assess and monitor students' academic progress, providing feedback and adjusting teaching methods as necessary to support their development.
- Supporting Student Development: Foster the social, emotional, and academic growth of students, providing support where needed and encouraging independence.
- Collaboration with Colleagues: Work closely with other teachers, teaching assistants, and school staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience for all students.
