Becoming a Primary Supply Teacher offers a distinctive blend of flexibility, variety and career development, Academics are working with schools across Redbridge, London and are looking to grow their pool of excellent primary teachers from January 2025. This offers the chance to work within EYFS, KS1 and KS2, gifting you the opportunity to become more adaptable due to the differing year groups, cohorts and areas of national curriculum being covered. Daily supply work will have you engaging with diverse groups of children and schools across London broadening your skillset development across education and training.

As a Primary Supply Teacher you will be responsible for:

  • Flexible Teaching:Deliver high-quality lessons in EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 classes across different schools.
  • Engage and Inspire:Create a positive and engaging learning environment, adapting to each school's unique culture and student needs.
  • Follow Curriculum:Maintain consistency and structure in lesson plans, aligning with the National Curriculum and school requirements.
  • Classroom Management:Establish a supportive and disciplined classroom environment to promote learning and positive behaviour.
  • Collaboration:Work with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity in learning for student

You must have:

  • A QTS and right to work in the UK
  • A DBS on the Update Service
  • Experience working within a primary classroom
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • A professional approach to work and managing healthy relationships within education and training
