Aspiring Psychologist Tower Hamlets ASAP Start

Looking for some priceless experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant? Do you want to go down the career route of professional Psychology?

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Tower Hamlets starting as soon as possible. This is a full-time, term-time position, running until July 2025, with a competitive salary of £450-500 per week. Role

  • Preparing and adapting learning materials to suit the needs of individual students
  • Providing 1:1 or small group support to children with SEN to help them access the curriculum

  • Supporting students with their emotional, social, and physical well-being
  • Managing behaviour and maintaining a focused, supportive classroom atmosphere
Requirements

  • A 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology or a related field from a top 20 UK university
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively
  • A child-centred approach with a passion for helping children overcome learning challenges
