Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: East London
Package £35,000 - £42,000 plus car allowance and travel
Skilled Careers are working with a Tier One Main Contractor who currently have 15 live sites within Central and specialise within a wide range of sectors.
They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work alongside a Senior QS on a £16m New Build Education project in East London.
Duties
- Subject to the approval of the Project Surveyor receive and make payments in respect of interim and final account applications from Sub-Contractors, Consultants and Suppliers in accordance with Company contractual arrangements.
- Contribute to the delivery of all confirmed project tasks and goals.
- Assist in the preparation of Orders with Sub-Contractors, Consultants and Suppliers.
- Prepare and co-ordinate labour only payments.
Requirements
- Experience working for a UK Main Contractor.
- BSc in Quantity Surveyor.
- JCT or NEC Contract knowledge.
- Ambitions to progress.
