About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be the lead on a 45m University project based in Greenwich. You will be working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor who have a turnover of over 1bn and constantly have interesting projects due to them winning the majority of projects in London. They are dominating the London construction market and have a proven track record of progressing staff through the ranks. This is a full time site based position.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Handling both the upstream and downstream process
- Regularly updating the financial forecast, identifying any potential risks and providing solutions
- Monitor costs throughout the projects life-cycle to ensure it stays within budget
- Solve any contractual disputes that arise during the project
Key Requirements of Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Experience in leading 30m+ projects at a Main Contractor
- Live within commutable distance to Greenwich
- Degree in a construction related subject
