Senior Quantity Surveyor

This is an exciting opportunity for an Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a 40m university new build and refurbishment project with a Tier 1 Main contractor.

About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor

This is an opportunity to join one of the UKs leading Main contractors who have gone from strength to strength over the past 4 years and have requirement for a Senior Surveyor to work as the commercial no 1 on a 40m university new build and refurbishment project under JCT contract. You will be working as part of a commercial team with on site managing the full up and downstream process from procurement. The project will be starting on site imminently and runs for approx 24 months. This is a full time site based position.

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

The company are looking for a candidate who has strong negotiation and communication skills, is organised and has high attention to detail. You will come from a Main contractor background, and be competent in managing the upstream and full commercial process. You will be highly motivated and ambitious as there is opportunity to progress your career with the team.

• Degree in a construction related subject
• Minimum of 10 years experience with another main contractor
• PCSA and 2 Stage tender experience - essential
