Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing high-volume bar environments. Experience in crafting cocktails that complement bold and spicy cuisines is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:

    • Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service from opening to closing.
    • Maintain high standards of beverage quality, presentation, and service.
    • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Recruit, train, and mentor bar staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
    • Create staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Financial Oversight:

    • Manage the bar's budget, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Analyze sales figures and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
    • Handle cash management, including daily reconciliations and bank deposits.
  • Customer Engagement:

    • Ensure exceptional customer service, addressing any complaints or issues promptly.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with regular patrons.
    • Organize and promote special events, promotions, and themed nights to attract and retain customers.
  • Compliance and Safety:

    • Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of beverages.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of licensing laws and ensure the bar operates within legal requirements.
    • Implement and oversee security measures to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patrons.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and bar operations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Certification in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
