Role Overview:We are looking for an experiencedRestaurant Reception Managerto lead and elevate our front-of-house reception team. This key role oversees every aspect of guest reception, from booking management to resolving customer concerns, while ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Youll be responsible for hiring, training, and inspiring our host team to provide an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Training:Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing host team dedicated to creating a warm, efficient, and professional guest experience.
  • Booking Systems Management:Oversee the use of SevenRooms and OpenTable booking systems to optimize seating arrangements and manage reservations effectively.
  • Customer Relations:Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Operational Oversight:Manage cash handling and end-of-day cash-ups with accuracy and accountability.
  • Team Coordination:Act as the main point of contact for host team members, addressing any staff issues professionally and creating a positive, team-oriented environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Proficiency in SevenRooms and OpenTable booking systems.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a background in staff recruitment, training, and development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints diplomatically.
  • Solid understanding of cash management and reconciliation processes.
