Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Sales Engineer with a background in lifts/elevators or related industries to join our dynamic team. This role combines sales acumen with technical expertise to drive customer engagement, support product sales, and provide top-level service. As a Field Sales Engineer, you will be on the front line, visiting client sites, understanding customer needs, and promoting solutions that align with their goals.
Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Meet with potential and existing clients to understand their lift/elevator requirements, assess needs, and present tailored solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Offer in-depth technical guidance on our products, troubleshooting customer issues and advising on best practices.
  • Product Demonstration: Conduct onsite product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and superiority of our solutions.
  • Sales Development: Identify new business opportunities, upsell and cross-sell within accounts, and work to exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to clients, troubleshooting technical problems and ensuring a high level of satisfaction with our services.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to influence product development and sales strategies.
  • Maintaining the sales tracking aspect of our system is crucial to the smooth running of your pipeline and easily enables real-time reporting against reasonable targets.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record in sales, particularly in the lift/elevator industry or a similar technical sector.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain complex technical information in an accessible way.
  • A Field Sales Engineer/Technical Salesperson, with knowledge of the lift industry and with a strong desire to be challenged, in order to succeed.
  • You will be a customer-service-focused, well presented, self-motivated, team player with good time management skills and excellent inter-personal skills
