The role - English Teacher
For this role, we are looking for an enthusiastic and resilient English Teacher to teach KS3 and KS4 students of the secondary age who have Social, Emotional, Mental, health needs along with learning difficulties. For this role you will need to plan and deliver lessons, provide behavioural and emotional support, collaborate with staff and have effective classroom management skills. Due to the student’s needs, it is essential for the ideal English Teacher to have experience with challenging behaviour. You must have a strong subject knowledge. You must be adaptable, empathetic and skilled in this specific area.

This Ofsted Outstanding school is an All Through special school for pupils aged 5 to 16 years who have social, emotional and/or mental health difficulties (SEMH) as their primary area of need.
The school is located within the London Borough of Redbridge. There are 52 students in Secondary phase and supported over 65 staff across both Primary and Secondary which includes Senior Leaders, Pastoral Leads, Curriculum Co-ordinator, Therapists, Mentors, Specialist Teachers, Instructors and Support Assistants.
