Education Personnel are working with a fantastic Specialist Provision in Redbridge who arelooking for a English Teacherwho can teach up to KS4.

The School

This is a special school for children experiencing social, emotional and/or mental health difficulties (SEMH), many of which present challenging behaviour. They have just received their 4th Oustanding from Ofsted and are highly regarded for their approach to education for their pupils

As a result of looking to expand theircurrent offer and an increase to pupils numbers, theyhave a vacancy in the Secondary department for a qualified and experienced EnglishTeacher. Responsibility for leading a curriculum area may be available to a candidate with the right skills and experience.

The right candidate should have;

  • Qualified Teacher status
  • Successful classroom experience of Quality First Teaching
  • Excellent knowledge of the English curriculum
  • An interest in, and understanding of, Special Educational Needs and the factors which affect behaviour
  • Resilience, stamina, flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude to hard work and challenging situations
