This large Community school located in the borough of Redbridge, are looking to recruit an English Teacher to join their team from October 2024. The Senior Leadership Team have the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. The school have recently completed their rebuild and the facilities available are fantastic.
The Senior Leadership Team are very supportive of their staff and are always trying to better there expertise. Having been graded Good in their last Ofsted, it was stated that "Leaders and their staff work together to maintain high expectations of all pupils. This leads to pupils good behaviour and positive relationships."
The school is located with walking distance from London Overground Stations and has parking available.

They work very closely together to ensure the students are provided with a challenging yet enjoyable curriculum that enables everyone to reach their own personal targets. The English department challenge students to engage with language, not only on a practical level but also on a creative, artistic level. With varying levels of experience within the department, both experienced and Newly Qualified English Teachers are welcomed to apply for this post.
The role is to start in October 2024 and the school are looking for someone who is able to commit to the remainder of the academic year.
To be considered for this ENGLISH Teacher role you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- PGCE in English
- Experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4
- The desire to join a very successful department and school
