School: A mixed all-through school in Redbridge
Rate: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Long Term, Full Time
GSL Education London is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a mixed all-through school in Redbridge. This is your chance to inspire students across Key Stages while working in a vibrant and inclusive environment that values educational excellence.
Responsibilities of the English Teacher:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Foster a love for literature, creative writing, and critical thinking among students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the English curriculum.
- Support extracurricular activities, such as book clubs, debates, and writing competitions.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- A passion for English literature and language, with the ability to inspire students.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for one.
