The Role
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our humanities department. You will teach KS3 and KS4 Geography, with opportunities to contribute to KS5 for the right candidate. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop creative and engaging lessons that help students connect with the world and understand the importance of sustainability, global citizenship, and environmental issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and potentially KS5).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum and school policy.
- Support student progress and achievement, including preparation for GCSE exams.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to department meetings.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, such as geography field trips and school events.
