About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Greenwich. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and challenge students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, promoting critical thinking, and ensuring that all students reach their full potential in this essential subject.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Mathematics to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development.
Implement strategies to support and challenge students of all abilities.
Contribute to the creation and delivery of schemes of work and department initiatives.
Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.
Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the schools wider community.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop best practices and support student success.
Requirements:

A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) and a degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Maths at secondary level.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students in a positive and effective manner.
Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting (desirable but not essential).
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to work well in a team.
