The RoleWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team full-time from January 2025. This permanent position offers the opportunity to inspire students in the fascinating world of mathematics, fostering a love for the subject and developing their analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and structured mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, in line with the national curriculum.
- Encourage students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through a variety of teaching methods.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics exams, providing support and resources to help them excel.
- Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and targeted support.
- Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum, including resources and innovative teaching strategies.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a growth mindset and confidence in mathematics.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education.
- Experience teaching mathematics at GCSE and A-Level is preferred.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to helping students achieve their potential and fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Willingness to engage with the wider school community through extracurricular initiatives.
