Media Studies Teacher – Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching Media Studies at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Media Studies
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Professional references covering at least two years of employment

Media Studies Teacher – Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Media Studies lessons to Pearson and BTEC students
  • Create engaging and challenging lesson plans that inspire students to excel
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support development
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners
