A Good Secondary School based in Redbridge, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Science Teacher to join their team from the end of September.

This large secondary school located in the borough of Redbridge, are looking to recruit a Science Teacher to join their team from the end of September. The Senior Leadership Team have the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. The school have undergone many changes over the years, but at the heart they remain a school with traditional values.
The Senior Leadership Team are very supportive of their staff and are always trying to better their expertise. Having been graded Good in their last Ofsted, it was stated that "Leaders place great importance on developing the whole child. They have high expectations on pupil's behaviour, and students do behave well, showing respect towards each other and towards adults."
The school is located with walking distance from London Overground Stations and has parking available.
Science Teacher
Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful department. The Science department aim to provide students with an interest and understanding of Science and how Science works, as well as developing their practical experimental skills. A large department, there are ten dedicated science laboratories, as well as having a number of science preparation rooms for technicians to use. The department work very closely together to provide the students with a varied and challenging curriculum and provide them with the support and guidance to achieve their personal goals. The successful candidate will be required to teach Combined Science to KS3 and KS4. Both experienced and newly qualified Science Teachers are encouraged to apply for this role.
The role is to start at the end of September and will be for 4 weeks initially.
To be considered for this Science Teacher role you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- PGCE in Science
- Experience teaching Combined Science to KS3 and KS4
- The desire to join a very successful department and school.
