About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons that not only meet national curriculum standards but also ignite a passion for scientific inquiry in our students. You will play a crucial role in helping them understand complex scientific concepts through hands-on experiments and real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver innovative and engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Inspire students through interactive learning experiences that encourage curiosity and exploration in the sciences.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams, providing tailored support and resources to maximize their success.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to guide their development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our science curriculum, ensuring it reflects the latest advancements in the field.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters collaboration and independent thinking.
  • Lead and participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs, competitions, and school projects, to enhance student engagement.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in a Science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a combination).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in science education.
  • Experience teaching science at GCSE and A-Level preferred.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a supportive and high-achieving learning environment.
  • Enthusiasm for engaging with the wider school community through extracurricular initiatives.
