Summary

A 'Good’ School with Outstanding features is seeking a forward-thinking and passionate Teacher of English to join them ASAP. This is a full-time, long-term role and will be made permanent for the right person.

About you

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), essential
  • Degree
  • Experience of successful practice as a Teacher in a Secondary School
  • Reflective practitioner
  • Strong subject knowledge and keep their knowledge and skills up to date
  • Make accurate and productive use of assessment
  • Act upon advice and feedback and demonstrate ability to coach and mentor
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and new ideas
  • Enthusiasm, resilience, reliability and integrity
  • DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to undergo a new check
