Summary

A 'Good’ School with Outstanding features is seeking a forward-thinking and passionate Teacher of Humanities to join them ASAP. This is a full-time, temp to perm role starting now or from January 2025. The school are open to hear from any Humanities specialism and ECTs.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), essential

  • Experience of successful practice as a Teacher in a Secondary School
  • Reflective practitioner
  • Strong subject knowledge and keep their knowledge and skills up to date
  • Make accurate and productive use of assessment
  • Act upon advice and feedback and demonstrate ability to coach and mentor
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and new ideas
  • Enthusiasm, resilience, reliability and integrity
  • DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to undergo a new check

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • You will need the following
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), essential
  • Relevant Degree

  • DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to undergo a new check
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage lesson planning and student assessments effectively.
  • Proficient in English with strong communication skills to engage with students of all abilities.
  • Experience in behaviour management techniques to foster a respectful learning environment.
