We wish to employ a well-qualified and enthusiastic full-time teacher of Physical Education, to teach PE in this high achieving multi-cultural school located in East London. Applications from ECTs and from experienced teachers are equally welcome. A TLR allowance may be available for a suitably experienced applicant.
PE is a core subject at all key stages and is a popular subject choice at GCSE and you will be joining a school with a very strong reputation for PE and sports. With a wide variety of team games on offer as well as other activities such as basketball, tennis, climbing, football, trampolining, badminton and athletics, we have very high levels of participation in sports and a very strong extra-curricular provision.
Our PE department is excellent and we are quite fortunate to employ a team of highly qualified and talented staff who work collegiately to enable our students to make outstanding progress at all key stages. GCSE and A level outcomes are excellent. We teach the Edexcel specification at GCSE and the AQA A level specification. Our PE/sporting facilities are excellent.
Our Secondary Academy is a massively oversubscribed 11-18 school and our students consistently achieve outstanding outcomes at GCSE and A level. The school provides a friendly working environment and offers excellent programmes of teacher induction and continuing professional development.
