We are recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants on behalf of a vibrant and welcoming school located in Newham, East London. This role is perfect for graduates or aspiring teachers looking to build a career in education and gain invaluable classroom experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting class teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Assisting with the management of classroom behaviour and helping students stay on task
  • Providing one-to-one and group support to students who may need additional help
  • Preparing classroom materials and assisting with administrative tasks
  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) as required
  • Actively participating in school activities and contributing to the learning environment


Requirements:

  • A passion for education and working with young people
  • A degree in any subject (education-related is a bonus, but not essential)
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with students
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and a team player
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (must have the right to work)
