About you:
Are you an experienced events manager with exceptional organizational skills and a passion for delivering high-impact, memorable experiences? This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to shaping and delivering events that support one of Londons landmark buildings. As a Deputy events Manager you will work closely with the Events Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse range of events, including conferences, public forums, networking receptions, and high-profile ceremonial occasions. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring events run smoothly, align with organizational objectives, and reflect the companies values and excellence.
Key responsibilites:

- Assist in the end-to-end management of events, from conception to delivery.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue arrangements, catering, and staffing.
- Develop event plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all event objectives are met.
- Support the management of event communications, including invitations, RSVPs, and post-event feedback.
- Ensure all events comply with health and safety regulations and accessibility requirements.
- Supervise on-site event operations, resolving issues swiftly and effectively.
- Contribute to developing innovative event strategies to enhance engagement and impact.
- Collaborate closely with the Catering Department
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in contract catering and Hospitality with Operational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Contract catering, events, or hospitality industry.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practises
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management
- Certification in Health and Safety
- Previous experience working in a similar role
Working Conditions:
The role may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Fast-paced and dynamic environment with frequent interactions with customers and staff.
