The Role:

We are looking for committed SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team. You will support students' academic, social, and emotional development, working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals in partner schools.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored lessons for students with SEND.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour.
  • Prepare and organise learning materials and resources.
  • Monitor and record student progress, reporting to teachers.
  • Support students during school activities, outings, and events.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to support student needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge and insight of SEND methods.
  • Build a rapport with parents and pupils.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the school and students.
