An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Band 7 Physiotherapist to join an established team within the Intensive Rehabilitation and Therapy service in North-East London. This position is ideal for those with a passion for providing high-quality care in intermediate care team.

Location: North East London
Position: Full-time (Part-time options also available)
Salary: £28-31 per hour (Band 7 equivalent)
Start Date: ASAP!

Setting: Community

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients in the intensive rehabilitation and therapy unit.
  • Provide expert advice and interventions in a variety of clinical conditions, particularly those requiring rehabilitation following acute or long-term illness.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans for patients.
  • Manage and prioritise a caseload, ensuring that patient needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure appropriate discharge planning and rehabilitation goals are set for patients in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with departmental guidelines and standards.
  • Provide support and supervision to junior staff and contribute to their professional development.

Key Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Physiotherapist with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience, ideally in an intermediate care or rehabilitation setting.
  • Experience in managing complex cases and delivering intensive rehabilitation.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • A proactive and positive approach to patient care, with a focus on achieving rehabilitation goals.
  • Availability to start immediately.
