I am looking for an experienced BI Developer with advanced expertise in Power BI for one of my council client. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of competency in SQL and have a strong understanding of databases. They will be responsible for extracting the required data, communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders, and managing their time efficiently to handle competing priorities. This is an initial 6 month contract, paying around 400/day (Inside IR35) and requires Active SC Clearance.
- Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Power BI.
- Utilize SQL skills to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring accurate and efficient data retrieval.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with database administrators and data engineers to optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all BI solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reports.
- Continuously improve BI processes and solutions to enhance overall data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely and effective delivery of BI solutions.
