To be successful in this role:
You will be a confident Backend Python / Microservices with at least 3 years of Python coding experience and 1+ years using the Django framework.
Other requirements for this role include experience with:
Microservices and using related tools
RESTful API development and management
Transactional management
Job role and responsibilities:
As a Backend Python / Microservices Developer your role will be vital in improving the functionality of the highly regulated environment. You will be hands-on designing, developing, and maintaining a digital platform that comprises multiple applications that the business requires to help the economy and environment. You will work with multiple different project teams and will benefit by growing your experience in the latest technology.
Other responsibilities for this role include:
Working with technical colleagues to fine tune requirements and validate development tasks in Jira
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
Developing modules that satisfy the functional and non-functional requirements
Coordinating deployments with Release Manager and monitor for successful integration
Managing design, build, test bug fix prerogatives
Preparing, review and build reusable components and front-end libraries
Building reusable components
Participating in the maintenance and improvement of existing applications
Optimising microservices for maximum performance
