I am partnering with an innovative international software company in London seeking a skilled Software Engineer (Big Data / Java) for a permanent position.
You will join a well-established development team, contributing to their flagship producta data platform utilizing machine learning techniques.
In this role, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, managing large-scale datasets, and ensuring smooth integration of data across various big data platforms. Your proficiency in Java and big data technologies will be instrumental in leveraging data for essential business insights.
Requirements:
- Extensive experiencein software engineering with a strong focus on Java or Python and associated frameworks.
- Proven experience with technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, or other distributed systems.
- Experience in building data pipelines for both batch and real-time processing of large datasets.
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS (EMR, S3), Google Cloud, or Azure is advantageous.
- Knowledge of data storage systems and relational databases.
- Experience with data processing frameworks.
