SEN Teaching Assistant Newham ASAP Start

Role:

  • Support students with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities
  • Assist with creating and adapting lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support during lessons, helping students achieve their potential
  • Support the emotional, social, and physical development of students
  • Work closely with class teachers, SENCo, and other professionals to monitor and report student progress
  • Help ensure a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere for all students


Requirements:

  • A degree from a top 30 UK university, ideally in Psychology or a related field
  • A strong desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude towards helping students


Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Full-time, term-time, until July 2025

Pay: Ā£450-500 per week
