Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within the classroom setting
Assist in the delivery of differentiated lessons and learning activities
Work closely with the SENCO to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for all students
Support students with personal care and mobility needs, when necessary
Monitor student progress and contribute to reviews of progress
Build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents to ensure effective communication

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs (SEN)
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with students
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, or similar, desirable)
Knowledge of a range of SEN and strategies to support students' learning
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
