A modern, inclusive Primary School located in the Borough of Havering is looking for 2 x SEN Teaching Assistants to join their staff team. This is a full-time, long-term role, starting in September 2024.
As an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside children with a range of SEN, including Autism/ ASD, ADHD, children with SEMH needs and behavioural difficulties. You will work closely with the Class Teacher, SENCo, and other specialists who will offer their expert advice and guidance along the way. - Supporting children with a range of SEN across year groups
- Working with children with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural difficulties
- Working in a Primary School
- September 2024 start
- Full Time & Long Term - No weekends - School hours
- £105 - £110 per day
- Located in the Borough of Havering
Person Specification - Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant
- Must have a good degree from a reputable University
- Good understanding of SEN is required
- Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN would be ideal
- Passionate about supporting children with SEN
- You must be able to work effectively as part of a team
- Calm and compassionate nature
