The SENCO role:

This Primary School SENCO Role will involve supporting the Head teacher in ensuring that all staff recognise the importance of planning lessons that actively engage, involve, and promote the learning and achievement of all pupils.

You will help support the school's aims and policies, as well as the development and implementation of SEN, EAL, and Gifted and Talented policies, in order to raise achievement and enhance the quality of education provided.

This SENCO role is not classroom-based.

Please note that while the SENCO qualification is not essential for this role, you must hold QTS and have experience as a SENCO, or be a Primary or SEN Teacher aspiring to become a SENCO.
