Job title: Advanced Engineering Mechanic
East London
Salary: Negotiable
Hours: Monday-Thursday 06:00-16:30, 06:00-15:00 on Friday. Overtime available
Days of work: Monday-Friday
Duties:
- Advising the Team Leader of technical issues
- Undertake advanced fault finding and diagnostic testing
- Repair and maintenance of vehicles .
- Contribute to the design, development, manufacture, construction, commissioning, operation or maintenance of products
- Risk assessments
- Undertake general engineering work and fabrication
- Take responsibility for ensuring the safety and roadworthiness of the organisations vehicles, machinery and equipment
- Complete specialist and general welding brazing and soldering
Package:
- Negotiable salary
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime available
Qualifications/experience needed:
- HGV Level 3 Qualified desired
- Hold a full category C or D licence, reasonable adjustments will be considered for disabled candidates
- Hold a IRTEC licence or equivalent
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and environmental standards
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions
