We are looking for a MOT Tester/Vehicle Technician to join our clients who are a leading service dealership specialising in the maintenance and repair of the renowned London electric black taxi.

About the Role

In this position, youll play a key role in keeping vehicles safe and roadworthy for a busy, well-regarded independent service centre. You'll be working with a variety of vehicles, especially in a sector where safety and reliability are paramount. This role is ideal for a Technician or MOT Tester who values hands-on work, problem-solving, and consistent quality in vehicle servicing.

Our client is a leading and trusted service dealership who specialise in the maintenance and repair of the renowned London electric black taxi. Our clients take pride in offering a top quality service which includes running repairs, servicing, inspections, MOTs and warranty work on these iconic vehicles.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
No Weekend work

Key Duties

Conduct MOT tests and ensure vehicles meet DVSA standards.
Diagnose, service, and repair a range of vehicle makes and models.
Perform safety inspections, oil changes, brakes, and general maintenance.

Key Requirements

Full, valid MOT Tester certification (preferred but not essential)
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
