Bookkeeper/Accountant
I am currently recruiting for an award winning small friendly family owned business for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join a full-time permanent basis.
The successful candidate needs to be awell organised Bookeeper/Accountant to manage all aspects of its invoicing and credit control, payment of purchases and preparation of accounts.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Sales Ledger
- Purchase Ledger
- Self-billing
- Statement reconciliations
- Credit control
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparation of VATreturns
- Reporting to the Group Financial Controller / Interacting with our external accountant
About you:
- Sage 50, Sage Payrolland Bookkeeping experience is essential
- AAT Qualified
- Able to deal with confidential information and report preparation
- Experience in preparation of monthly manegement accounts
- Computer literate including very proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Reliable, Motivated hardworking and flexible
- Self-organised with plenty of initiative
- Multi-tasking and organisational skills to manage different duties, including an ability to prioritise tasks
- Attention to detail
