Our client is recruiting for an accounts payable clerk to start as soon as possible. This is a temporary ongoing role based in Ilkeston.

Description
- Manage and maintain the accounts payable function within the team
- Process invoices, reconcile supplier statements and deal with payment queries
- Assist with month end closing
- Perform daily bank reconciliations
- Compile and sort invoices and checks
- Prepare analysis of accounts
- Provide timely response to all vendor inquiries
- Support the wider finance team as required
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- A background in Accounting & Finance
- Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Experience in a similar role within the retail industry
