HGV Class 2 (Cat C) DAY DriverDerby DE7 4QUTemporary / On-going [until further notice]Immediate startMonday to FridayShift Length varyRate £14 to £15 per hour - minimumThis is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group and work with one of our Clients in Derby, delivering/collecting Class 1 'UNITS' around the UK - working in a team of 5.Driver Responsibilities:Delivering or collecting Class 1 UNITS [Cat C Driving Licence/Class 2 is permitted] to a specified address anywhere in the UK. You will work in a team, with approx. 5 other Class 2's. You will either deliver or collect Class 1 units. A support vehicle / mini bus will either take you [when collecting] or follow you to bring you back to the yard [when delivering].NB: Class 1 UNITS 'without trailers' - can be driven on a Class 2 Licence.Driver requirements and skills:* You must be happy to work alongside other Class 2's.* You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 2 (C) license, Driver CPC & DIGI Cards.* Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points. * Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, Upbeat, self-motivated and resilient - are welcomed in this role.* Able to maintain high safety standards throughout.* You must have good geographical knowledge.Driver Key Information and Benefits:* Weekly pay* FREE onsite parking* Rate £14 - £15 per hour* Continued professional development and in house DCPC periodic training will be provided [after a qualifying period]* A safe working environmentDriver Shift time:* Monday to Friday - Day shifts.* Ave. hours per shift - can be up to 15To be considered for this role as a HGV Class 2 (C) DAY DRIVER, please apply directly to the Gi Group, Central Recruitment Team by calling Jan on - or - call our Derby Driving Team on .
