LTF Recruitment have an amazing opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school located in the DE72 area. The school are looking for an individual to take a positive approach to supporting student progression in all areas. This opportunity starts in the new term, from January 2025, and will progress into a permanent role for the right person.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1-1 and small group basis
  • Provide general classroom support to students
  • Work closely with teachers to identify learning styles, strengths and challenges of individuals
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom culture where students feel valued and supported
  • Build positive relationships with students, supporting them to follow school rules and expectations

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate the ability to work with diverse learning needs, adapt learning and provide tailored support
  • Have a passion for education and creating a positive learning experience for all students
  • An up to date enhanced DBS and two references are a requirement for this role (we can support with this).
