Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Our client is looking for someone with a background in Quality Management specifically in food manufacturing as a necessity. You will have flexibility in working hours and work closely with not only the technical team but interdepartmentally.
In the role you will promote health and safety, maintain quality, hygiene, and productivity standards in the production environment, ensuring compliance with industry and legislative requirements. As well as supporting and improving HACCP-based quality management systems as a key responsibility and developing action plans to address non-conformances and ensure swift problem-solving for non-conforming products.
The role includes providing technical support and training to other departments, overseeing the quality team’s performance and development, and implementing product and process improvements. You will be able to liaise with customers and statutory bodies during audits and visits, meanwhile analyse results and implement corrective actions. The manager also participates in internal audits, manages incidents, ensures water quality, and works to reduce environmental impacts.
