Injection Moulding Technician
Robertson Recruitment are looking for an experienced injection moulding setter with knowledge in the injection moulding sector. The candidate must also have experience of using milling/turning/grinding equipment to produce precision parts.
Hours can be flexible and the client would also be open to someone working part time. If not it will be 39 hours a week working a day shift pattern.
Injection Moulding Technician Duties
- Servicing, cleaning and maintenance of injection moulding tools
- Responsible for making, maintaining cleaning and repairing precision tools and parts
- Working with a variety of materials including metals, alloys, plastics and ceramics
- Collaborate on existing projects producing parts and fixtures for new or prototype machinery
- To work to the standards required by the company, customer base, BRCGS (British Retail Consortium Global Standard) and FDA (Food & Drugs Administration USA) and to meet legal requirements.
- Follow and create engineering drawings to measure and mark out the design for parts/projects as appropriate for later reference.
- Using precision measurement instruments such as micrometres, gauges and vernier callipers to check dimensions.
