Salary: £45,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Days)
Are you a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity within the FMCG sector? We are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
- Work with production teams to maintain high levels of operational efficiency.
- Adhere to safety, health, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work carried out.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance role within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, PLCs, and automation.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- A proactive and safety-conscious attitude.
- Experience working within a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
- Engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong communication and teamworking skills.
