Overview:
Adept Resourcing Group are proud to be working alongside an independent manufacturing business based in North Derbyshire in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team.

As a key member of our client's maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our machinery operates at peak performance. If you have mechanical and electrical maintenance experience and are a strong all-rounder who can troubleshoot, strip down, and rebuild machines, then we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct both mechanical and electrical maintenance on a variety of machines and equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and identify any maintenance needs or potential issues before they arise.
  • Strip down and rebuild machinery as needed to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, diagnosing problems and applying corrective measures.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ability to strip down and rebuild machinery.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts: 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM and 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
